NOBODY!
Yes, I am a big fat jerk! You know that twinge of disappointment you just felt…well multiply it by a million and you will know what I feel every time I have a contraction. WHAAAAAA…..get him out of me! Come on, full moon yesterday, low pressure system, afternoon delight with the hubby, I am sipping red raspberry leaf tea as I type this. Contractions on and off all day and all night…but no…not enough to put me into the hospital. This is torture, I would so rather not have any signs then having TONS of signs but not going anywhere.
So yeah, I didn’t want to leave you hanging…still sitting here swollen and tired but really really excited to meet Bennett. With each passing day I get more and more thrilled at kissing my little boy and less scared about labor and having two wee ones.
I do feel like this weekend was a gift from the Lord. This is our first free weekend, Friday-Sunday since December. We had so much fun as a family and the weather was amazing! We ventured down to the community market to let Chloe explore. She had a ball. She also ate her first homemade mini cinnamon donuts. Guess who kept double fisting them? Mommy’s little girl! If food were alcohol she would drink you under the table in a second!
So I will leave you with some more family moments from the market and going to church yesterday.

Look how tall she is! We had our 18 month check up today….33 inches! She is over half my height already. I am screwed in my own family.

And a HUGE thank you to my sister in law, Meridyth, for her very fun package she sent to Chloe, Bennett and me. Lots and lots of special treats. I am afraid she is not willing to share the giraffe with Bennett, she has already carried it all over the house. Maybe it is time to start working on sharing!

hey girl, sorry about the contractions but i totally know how you feel, and actually now that i have been to the end I at least wouldnt have changed it, i was a week late with more than a couple of night having trouble going to sleep since i had been having reg contractions and just knew i was going to be awoken in labor, only to wake up to be but no pain!!! but when it did hit is was hard and strong, woke 3:30 got to hospital by 5:00 at 7 cm and baby at 7:10 so maybe even though this is annoying it has to be doing something and why not have some activity at home with minimal pain? and the pic of your package, abigail has the same heart jammies, she just wore one pair to bed last night! cant wait to here the big news and still praying for your own timing. love ya

Oh sweets, I am sooo feeling your pain! And we’ve checked off all the to-do list as well. But you know I would have been totally pissed at you for not waiting for me.

I am a sucker, too! I was so excited to see the beautiful little boy but even with that heart jump of mine, I can’t imagine how excited/dissappointed you are! Waiting is so tiresome, especially when you don’t know exactly when it will end!! But I’m glad you are excited!! That helps.

I love the weekend pictures and that you were able to spend some quality time together. Chole’s going to be a wonderful big sister! I hope he arrives soon. uuummmm…. I have a Taurus. While they are quite fiery… they quite easy to love.

With each update of there being action but no “real” update, I can totally sympathize and I know it sucks. I think Bennett’s a glory-hog actually, a little on the dramatic side and this is just his first attempt to gain the spotlight

Cruel, I tell ya! Second pregnancies seem to be like that your body knows what to do so it starts doing it earlier. Making you believe they are coming early. I had contractions not BH for quite some time before my second made her appearance however, once she decided it was time IT was time and it only took about 6 hr with 22 min of pushing to get her out. So think of it as your body getting a head start! Sending you labor vibes and hoping you meet him soon.
I am cracking up at Chloe’s height, hearing other kids stats remind of just how small my lil one. Annie is 25.5m and is only 30in. Chloes got 3 inches on Annie and is 6 months younger!! She is a doll!

Yeah kelly, we had a lot of fun this weekend. We work amazing together. Dustin loves wandering around taking candids and I love the formals. It was way way too fun. The photos turned out amazing. We rented a REALLY nice lens for D. I want it.
I can’t get over how much Chloe has grown. Wow. Maybe she’ll end up as tall as her daddy one day. That’d be a little crazy.
