The dining room wall color looks so good against the white wainscotting/chair rail...btw I love that wainscotting because it doesn't have the bead board that they normally have, it's very modern, but still classic for a DR. I love the sticks too, I have to be careful not to over use them. We all bow down to the decorating QUEEN! Great job, your home is both beautiful and inviting; you always make people feel comfortable in the midst of enjoying the aesthetics, and to me that's the most important quality a home can offer! What I like about your home (from the pictures) is the sense of style and the sense of your family who lives in it. It worries me when you walk into someone's house and it doesn't feel like a home because nothing is personal. Of course, this is coming from the same girl who has green cabinets and red walls in the kitchen. My MIL about had a heart attack - but it's us and we love it. Keep up the good work! Great advice! I would happily have a house like that as long as it was based on blues or something similar. But I love the nic-nacs and accessories, and wish my son was not such a whorlwind to accommodate things like that in my house. Our home is a work in progress as far as finding funky accessories, but I am loving it. Color definitely gives the room a feeling. Your home looks beautiful.
