Geez Louise you guys. That was ridiculous how many of you scrutinized the full body shot. I literally put the most unflattering shot and you all flock to it. Pathetic! I think that ranks as one of my most viewed photos ever. I almost took it down because I was getting a complex….let it go! Girls, girls, girls…where is the love? Dare you to post a sweatpants, no makeup, no style hair picture….Double Dog Dare You!!!
Anyway, seeing as that was an out of shower shot of me and not one showing off my new do. I decided to put on makeup, style my hair and shoot from the neck up. Now you have to understand I cut my own hair all the time but never this drastic. I just kinda went for it and I immediately had Cutters Remorse as I felt very “mommish” and not sassy at all. Slowly I am figuring out how to style it a little better and I am coming to really like it. Yesterday was my best day yet, although these pictures were taken a few days ago. I am figuring out how to do it less styled and more messy. You know….work really hard to make it look like you didn’t work very hard…that is the goal!

i like it a lot! good job… i also like your shirt(s)…very cute. i cut my own hair once after my roommate had gone to bed and i scared her in the morning when she rolled out of bed into the bathroom and i was already there getting ready. it was such a huge change, she didn’t recognize me in her morning grogginess. i had a pretty good laugh at her expense. (she later loved my hair.)

I tried cutting my hair once - when I was 6 - just before school pictures. Yeah, it didn’t turn out so well. It’s hard enough being an awkward 6 year old, but to look like a boy as well, that just puts it over the edge. I think I learned my lesson. I keep my distance from those evil scissors.

I didn’t do anything drastic yesterday at the hair salon. I ask my hairdresser what I should do and since she really likes my curls, she has a hard time cutting them off. So for right now, it is nothing too exciting, but yours looks great! Super cute! I love fun pixie cuts…I just need to be daring enough to actually do it.
What is really exciting is that your baby ticker moved up one…I can’t believe you only have 3 months left till Bennett graces the pages of this site! YAY!

Not momish at all, super cute! I did the drastic cut 4 months ago and now and venturing back to the “long enough for a ponytail” style. I am certain in 5 months I’ll chop it all off again, I am crazy like that…
That hair isn’t a mommy hair do at all. I love it! And in fact, it looks better done by you than mine looks after leaving a $35 cut! I wish I could pull it off. You look great.
Kelly, not ONLY do I love your hair, (I’m also a self cutter…wish I was that brave though)but I ALSO LOOOOVE guiter hero. I played for the first time in January and ever since then we’ve been trying desperately to find it. (SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE). I always feel like an idiot playing that thing but a girl just has to give over her insecurities and let it all go.

Kelly..I like it. It’s not the sexy mane you’ve sported before, but it’s clean and cute! I just had mine done…I like the color…lots of shades of blonde, but terrible cut. I asked for whispy long bangs and she gave me a chunk of hair for long bangs and cut it straight across the back…very hard to manage and style. $177. Stick to doing it yourself…I like yours better: )
