Wow, we have literally had guests for almost 19 days straight. We sent off Ryan’s sister Meridyth and her adorable son, Caleb, this afternoon. I am telling you what….we make BIG kids in this family! If you are going to do it, do it big I guess! Chloe and Caleb are a serious set of bruisers together. Cheeks and thighs for miles. Love it!
I don’t have time to write much and please keep voting below on Porty’s gender, it is fascinating to me what you guys think. Looking pretty even right now.
Here are some adorable shots from our time this last week while Chloe got to hang out with her cousin from Cali!
WE did try to make it our mission to take tons of photos of the two kids together, however…they clearly did not get the memo as hardly a decent shot was taken of the two of them. Ryan’s parents got Chloe and Caleb some Patriots jerseys as a gift. You can’t marry a Portnoy and not be married to all Boston sports teams. Start ‘em young!
This one cracks me up. “Shut the heck up Caleb!”
No that isn’t Chloe with a sex change. She is actually trying out for the role of Fievel in American Tale. Sing it Chloe, “There are no cats in America!” Doesn’t she look like a little mouse, this hat will be ten times cuter when her hair is longer and I can do little neck piggies.
Aunt Meridyth bought Chloe her first baby doll and toy stroller. I love it. She doesn’t quite know what to do with the doll yet so she usually pitches it out of the stroller. She loves to push the empty stroller all over or sit in it or the best is when you chase her with it.
Time for her to push a real live baby.
The weather went from ice and snow last Friday to 60 degree weather. Only in Virginia. We enjoyed Chloe’s new playground in the backyard.
Keep your eyes off my badonkadonkdonk! Look at me, 19 weeks preggers. Check out those birthin’ hips…hee haw!
Can we just have a Chloe moment. Oh man, I say this all the time, but I love her so much. She is absolutely cracking me up! One is so fun!!! She walks everywhere and has the funniest things she says and does. I love it, love it, love it.
She lost her balance and fell sunny side up and shot this look at the camera and it just makes me laugh.
It’s very, “What you talkin bout Willis?” The flared nostrils are a nice touch.
Could you not just snack on his face. I love the chub!
Meri and I also introduced a new Portnoy family tradition. Cookie decorating. This was fun for the first 1000 cookies, but the last 2000 were not as creative. It seemed like the fishes and loaves, the cookies were either having sex or we performed a miracle of duplication.
Behold the creativity
Okay, one more for the road of the two cuties. There are lots and lots more, but some of them are going to be gifts so I need to keep them under wraps.

You sure have a sweet little girl, there. I adore her cheeks and I love seeing how you dress her up!!
oh my goodness, I love that shot of Chloe right under the pic of you. She is TOOOOO cute!
Ya’ll have a corner on cuteness in your family, I tell ya!
Glad to know you’re not stressing too much with this whole move!
I hope your new kitchen is slightly bigger for those thousands of cookies!
my favs are the first two. touchdown and touching caleb’s head. they are so cute and growing up so fast.
they are too cute. i mean seriously, i think i puked a bit in my mouth.
but like in a good way.
SUPER cute!
Well done on the cuteness
What a cute family! I love it…And Miss Kelly? You look fabulous!!!
I just looked at the Porty voting results and its exactly 50/50… hope that clarifies things for you : )
Yeahhh our cookies this year were cute and creative for the first few… and then slowly turned into one solid icing color with sprinkles haha. And after all that they end up being eaten so fast. Ration them out people!
I think you got some fantastic shots.. my fav: touchdown by Chloe and poor Caleb with he elbow… heheheheheheh..
One is my favorite. So fun as they become more independent and interactive. Enjoy!
What cute pictures! They’re darling! I love the little jerseys too.
love it! kel, you still look HOT. can’t wait to squeeze little chloe in a few short weeks!
i love her, i love her, i love her!!!!!!!!! (ffievel. i mean, chloe.)
and you.
and meri.
and sweetcheeks magoo (that’s my new name for caleb.)
oh man. they are too cute.
Yes, Abel has one too many Pat, Red Sox, etc. clothes from all his New England family members.
They look ADORABLE! Don’t you love that Chloe has cousins around her age. It is so fun.
Can’t wait to here about Porty!!
Chloe’s sunny side up look is a simple “Suck it, Ma. Now put down the damn cam & put me vertical so I can be cuter again!”
But then again, she’s freakin adorable-icious 24/7.
You know… IMHO.
And I’m currently seething in jealousy of how great you look. I’m just plump allllllllll ovah!
Hey Where’s the cookie I made? Did somebody eat it already?
Boy those kids have good genes.
I love cookie decorating! When I was a young tween we had annual cookie decorating parties at my house and we would always make really funny cookies: gingerbread men wearing black trenchcoats, amputee sailors, and other strange creatures. It was so fun!
Chloe is getting exponentially cuter. She looks so adorable pushing that toy stroller…big sister in training or what!
Chloe is looking more and more like a little girl and less like a baby…unbelievable how time flies! And, is Heather having a lynchburg road trip without mhaw? what’s the deal with that? You look GREAT Kel, super hot mama to be for sure! oh and btw, BRADY SUCKS! Ryan, did you hear that???
your family sure makes cute kids!
and you look fabulous!
YEAH!!!!! TODAY IS THE DAY THE WORLD FINDS OUT WHAT YOU’RE GROWING IN THAT BELLY OF YOURS!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to know! I hope it goes well!
Too cute! That is all that comes to mind.
I would have cried too. It is shocking! But of course you already know that in a few months you’ll be saying you can’t imagine it any other way…blah blah blah. You know it will all be good but it is totally a shocker! (BTW I knew it was a Porty Boy all along!). I can’t believe you’re 1/2 way there either. Wow. Congratulations-you have made your husband the happiest man in the world!
**The weather went from ice and snow last Friday to 60 degree weather. Only in Virginia.**
Don’t say that to a Texan!! We’re KNOWN for our ice storms followed by 80 degree heat waves. Ugh, I swear, the weather here is INSANE.. or off it’s meds, one or the other!
Btw, thanks so much for writing to me personally, that was really very sweet of you.
I hope you have a great day!!
