I tell you, being a photographer is hard work especially when you get a call from a family that looks like this:
and then they went ahead and procreated a baby that looks like this:
I mean what an unfortunate family. We are not miracle workers people!
Actually, this is the beautiful Lamonte family who wanted some pictures for Christmas presents and hired Ryan and I to capture their ridiculously cute family. It was such an awesome fall day and Chloe kept Abby company in the strollers while we gave mommy and daddy some solo time.
They have such a great chemistry in the pictures. I am also insanely jealous of Lynne’s great butt which I had to confess to her and she is probably blushing just knowing I typed those words. How come I didn’t look like this after my baby was 9 months old? Oh yeah I ate a lot and didn’t exercise….whoops!
Can you stand how cute they are???? Oh man and they are literally like the nicest people on the face of the earth. They came to the shoot with some fall candles and a thank you note for us. So thoughtful!!! Okay, now here is some Abby solo shots. She has AWESOME facial expressions.

definitely ugly. not much to work with here. and you guys have no eye for any good shots - especially ryan, i mean, come one - keep an eye out at the end of the day for a good sillouette photo already.

Your pictures are beautiful. It’s funny cause I think the dolly girl looks like her mom but another girl said she looks like her dad! Precious either way. I also love that last photo. Such art. Plus, I love all your little buildings you take your pictures in front of. Does a place that charming really exists? I think it’s all in the person behind the lens!

you guys have great talent. i’m always impressed and in awe when i look at your pictures. maybe some of those family photography genes will rub off on me while i’m there. i need lessons to use all the functions on my camera! did you take these shots downtown? very cute spot for pictures, wherever it is.

The notes to your precious girl just are so sweet…it gave me the idea to do something like that for the Abster. I am a devoted stalker to your blog but completely understand need for rest and rejuvenation!
