This is a picture of sin….gawd awful…straight to your hips SIN!
That, my friends, is a bowl full of straight sugar.(sorry Heather) Let’s review the recipe…..1 STICK of butter, 1 CUP of peanut butter, 1 CUP of chocolate chips, 1 CUP of butterscotch chips. Warm it all up together and drizzle on top of 8 cups of Chex cereal (grains…good right?) Then you top it off with 2 CUPS of powdered sugar. OH MYLANTA…..your mouth is a cesspool of glucose. Seriously, it is the most amazing dessert, but would send any diabetic over the edge!!! I know Pringles stole this tag line….but once you pop…you can’t stop! I made a bowl of this on Sunday for Ryan and I. How long did it take two people to eat it? Oh, but 48 hours….48 HOURS and 8 sugary cups of Chex in our bellies. I won’t even begin to calculate the calories or I may feel too guilty. This is the second batch this week. Somebody stop me.
What is that in my other hand, you ask? That is the recipe for the dinner I am making tonight. Creamed chicken and biscuits. Let’s review that recipe…..butter, milk, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, biscuits…oh and chicken. I just can’t seem to figure out why I can’t shake that last 8lbs of baby weight. Maybe I should set up a full length mirror in the kitchen so while I am stirring away at my bowl full of sin, I watch my oh so ample buttocks jiggling behind me.
Okay, I have to show a slew of Chloe pictures…I am WAY behind…I know you guys have probably forgotten what she looks like with a whole 5 days between pictures.. The last two days have provided some photo opps. Can I tell you how in love I am???? I can not imagine a world without Chloe in it. She makes me laugh so hard. She is going through a growling stage…sounds like she is possessed, but it is so cute….and her laugh…oh her laugh…I have got to figure out how to put video on my blog so you guys can hear this laugh. There is actually a scene in her Baby Einstein video where a lizard, hand puppet, comes on the screen and sticks it’s tongue out and says, “BLAHHHHH” Every time she sees it she cracks up…..like she gets it…it is funny to stick your tongue out. Man, a sense of humor already.
So this is Chloe welcoming you into her crib….
So she can’t settle on which fingers to suck…here we caught her with her chubby little thumb.
and then she goes back to two fingers.
She is pretty much obsessed with playing with her hands. They are her preferred choice of entertainment.
This is a classic, non-expression. She has the camera shoved in her face WAY too much.
She LOVES to stand up. She shows zippo interest in rolling over, but could stand all day.
This picture cracks me up…she looks like some crazy rock star that leaves their shirt open…Enrique Iglesias or someone of that nature…but she also looks so sad. I was trying to get a picture of her war wounds from today from her shots. She just gave me such a pathetic face. I kinda left her a little vulnerable. She is strong like bull still. 16 pounds 11 ounces and 26 inches at 4 months….UNBELIEVABLE. She is still barely staying on the charts in the 97th percentile.
At least she got a super cool Barbie bandaid. Look at that thigh chub…so stinking cute!
One last shot of her cooing at me. Love the eyebrow and eyelashes. My sweet, sweet girl.

oh…my…GOSH. i want puppy chow. i want that whole bowl. NOW. i’m glad i don’t live at your house.
LOL, just looking at that bowl sent my gallbladder into spasm. YUM!
Too funny - she looks like a sumo wrestler with her shirt open (in a good way I promise)… I love the standing picture too - looks like a rock climber there…
Avi has no interest in rolling over but LOVES to stand (actually gets pissed when we make him sit - he’d rather stand)
These kids are too funny - i swear we need to meet someday!
Thanks for the Ms. C pictures - you’re right I was missing them!
She’s almost as tall as you, Kelly.
I think you’re rubbing it in, Kel - flaunting the “food” in front of my face.
On a sweeter note, you’re baby girl is precious. I can’t believe she’s STANDING UP! she’s growing up so fast *tear*
OOoooohhhh that dessert looks YUM YUM YUM!!! I can already feel my hips growing lol
LOVED the pics. I love how they give a little band-aid for the kiddies over there. Here they just get stabbed and sent off lol
Just thought Id comment on the creamed chicken and biscuits. I have that same exact recipe and it is probably my husbands favorite meal that I make. (out of like 5 things that I make… I didnt have a great teacher in the cooking department) Just as a side note… here is a neat meal planning site that I have been enjoying recently. Its totally free and has lots of recipes to browse and stuff.

And Chloe is quite the cutie. Somehome my daughter (4) always seems to be in the room when I peek at your blog and she always loves to see the cute pics you have posted! :^)
Peanut butter is good for you. Just sayin’.
chex are my total favorite. and i loooove muddy buddies. or whatever you call them. and if eating chex (or any type of chex mix) is sinning - i must be going to hell cause i’ve eaten them almost every day for about 5 years. and i’m not about to stop.
and (i can’t believe jen didn’t comment on this) but i think her daughter abby used to immitate (and laugh at) the same exact lizard sticking the tongue out. maybe it was her friend tyler that did that more often. but i know the lizard tongue thing. didn’t abby like that part jen?
First of all, Chloe is just so stinkin cute. I don’t think I can say that enough and Second, I want the complete recipe of the Creamed Chicken and Biscuits, I think I want to make it tonight…yummy…:)
And your dessert, oh your dessert. I have not made it yet, but I already feel my butt getting bigger.
oh my yumminess. my mouth is watering. for the sugar and chloe cuteness. that hair clip is sooo perfect. fits her personality.
Wow!! That looks amazing…and it doesn’t help that I’m hungry right now either!
I love Chloe’s hands…all chubby! She is simply adorable!!
there are days that i think my thighs resemble hers. crap. not as cute now, with or without a bandaid.
save me some.. i love that stuff!!
Oh dear….that dessert looks evil!! Maybe share some with the fam? Are you secretly feeding Chloe ‘big girls food’ already? She is a chunker!!
Love er!
Sadly although I don’t think he looks it, Ryder’s possibly weighing more than C these days. Not good for my lower back, I’m tellin ya
first things first…did you really refer to Enrique Iglesias as a rock star?? We need to have a serious talk about music!
Second, I was feeling guilty for making poppyseed chicken the other night (half was for a friend who just had a baby), but now I don’t feel bad anymore!
The creamed chicken and biscuits look amazing and so southern…loook at you being all southern!
Can’t wait to meet Chloe and see those cute little thighs, eyes, and fingers for myself!
