Before and Afters Part Trey

I know you are all feeling more and more at home in my house with all these gah-niffty photos I am posting. I figured I would formally welcome you into my house. I am making it really hard for rapist, murders, and thieves to come find us. They would be bitterly disappointed with our 19 inch TV…although they would get a killer Mac and a buttload of photography equipment. None the less, here is the before and after of our little abode.

BEFORE SHOT
No color or life…ugly plastic green flower boxes with dead petunias…gotta love it!

Our New Home

Here is the standard boring angle. We in no way are trying to pass our house off as having “landscape”. These are the pathetic excuses for shrubs and mulch that we were left with. Ryan is trading out services with a landscaper so hopefully next year that huge wailing wall on the left will have shrubs or at least an ounce of aesthetic presence. Focus more on the fire engine red door, new flower boxes, plants and rod-iron set.

House shot-boring angle

More interesting angle of the porch.

Porch shot

Come on up the stairs….let the red call you.

Looking up our houses skirt

You may want to take a break after traversing all 10 stairs. Have a look around at some of our sketchy neighbors who take NO pride in their homes.

Seating for two

We even have a super sweet door knocker. I am probably inside watching Prices Right or Family Feud because we only get 15 channels.

Come on knock on our door...we've been waiting for you

By the way…for those of you tracking the “Pyrex Incident”, I had a lovely chat with Debbie at Pyrex who let me know it wasn’t my fault (as if I didnt know this!) and I will receive my new 9 X 13 casserole dish within a week! That is all I was looking for. Thank you Debbie….A+ on customer service.

love, love, love those boxes. The grasses are oh so stylish! I cant believe that casserole dish just exploded…that would give me a major cooking complex. Glad to see you are getting back in the ring. Go Debbie!

Oh your house looks great! We’re planning on doing some small projects around here and it’s making me more excited about getting things done :) Also, I’ll pray for you that things work out for you to be able to work from home like I know you want to. God will work it all out :) You’re going to be a great mommy!
