Okay, my 30th birthday is steadily approaching…but not before Dan! Is it wrong to be ridiculously excited to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire tonight? I seriously think this is some of the best writing I have ever read. JK Rowlings lives in another dimension. Now I know why the Brits like to say the word “Brilliant”. She has managed to create an entirely new society, language, sport, and people…Brilliant! Ryan and I listened to the entire 4th book on CD while going to New York last year. This is a 20 hour road trip for us and the CD’s are 22 hours long. Needless to say, we hardly spoke or stopped the car. When we got back to Virginia we laid on my couch for 2 hours listening to the crazy ending. Although this book series is controversial in Christian circles, as a pure work of literature, it is fantastic. Thank you to Dan and Gretchen who are waiting in the cold this morning to purchase tickets for us all. Laugh, boo, or make fun….I don’t care…I am a fan’s fan.

Honestly, not being one who understands “obsessive collections”, er, I mean.. the Harry Potter craziness, I will not be attending this evening. However, we will be at the premier of a new HIT movie. Walk the Line people. Do none of you have reverence for those who have gone before us…a la Justin and Stacey! Come on! We must honor their passion as if they were still with us!
Happy Movie Premier Day!!!
Not wrong at all. Completely normal. It better be, or else I’m a wacko too.
So, can I sit next to you and hold your hand through the scary parts? Hunh?
Yeah that’s a little weird…I mean…what adult in their right mind would be so excited to see this movie…I mean, to think a whole clan of adults getting together for dinner first and then going to see it…just weird…
steph… i had reverance for justin and stacey. i flew all the way to louisville just to see walk the line with them. it was brilliant!
